Expressing that President Erdogan supports the two-state policy put forward by the Turkish Cypriot side, Tatar emphasized that Turkey will continue to protect its rights in cooperation with the TRNC in the Eastern Mediterranean as well.

Expressing that Erdogan congratulated him for receiving the honorary doctorate degree, Tatar stated that he was also pleased that Erdogan met young people in Turkey and told the Cyprus issue firsthand, and that it was useful to explain the national cause to the youth.

Stating that Turkey's investment in TRNC highways will continue and the necessary support will be given for the rapid continuation of the projects, Tatar said that he received the information that Ercan Airport will be completed by March at the latest.

Stating that he will go to Istanbul after his visit to Kırşehir, Tatar stated that he will go to Istanbul by plane of the Republic of Turkey with the instruction of President Erdogan and that he will attend the martyrs commemoration event organized by the Turkish retired officers' association.
