Ahmet Tuğcu: There will be no intervention for malfunctions as of 12:00 today
El-Sen Secretary General Ahmet Tuğcu said that whether the Public Procurement (Amendment) Law is passed by the Parliament or not, the malfunctions will not be intervened as of 12:00.
Ahmet Tuğcu, Secretary General of the Union of Employees of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (El-Sen), made special statements to the Cyprus Post in front of the Assembly.
Tuğcu underlined that today is the 13th day of the protest and said, "We are all here." Tuğcu also said that there was no response to any appointment requests.
“FOLLOWING 12.00 HOURS, THERE WILL NOT BE INTERVENTION”
Stating that they will not intervene in the malfunctions as of 12:00 today whether the Public Procurement (Amendment) Law is implemented or not, Tuğcu said, "We will not give up our action unless the government takes a step back."
Underlining that they will no longer make the faults they have done in good faith in the fields, Tuğcu said, “We will only secure the malfunctions that pose a danger.”
“WE WILL CONTINUE THE ACTION ON CIVIL DISOBEY WITH ALL STAFF”
Tuğcu noted that if the law passes, El-Sen will continue the act of civil disobedience with all his staff.
