Pound sterling trades at 30.75 lira in free markets
According to the latest report on free market exchange rates, the pound sterling began the day trading at 30.75 Turkish lira, while the euro traded at 26.25 lira.
The trend of high exchange rates continues following the second round of the presidential elections held on May 28th in Turkey, which saw historic highs in the currencies. The sterling purchased at 29.90 lira in free markets is now being sold at 30.75 lira, while the euro's buy rate is 25.60 lira and sell rate is 26.25 lira. The dollar has been set at a buying rate of 23.40 TL and a selling rate of 24.05 TL in free markets.
