Grand art event in Girne

Girne, along with a 150-member ensemble consisting of musicians from Cyprus, Germany, and various regions worldwide, is preparing for the Winds of Rotary Concert, which will take place on July 30th at Girne Amphitheater.

Girne is getting ready for the Winds of Rotary Concert featuring a massive ensemble of 150 musicians. Including musicians from Cyprus, Germany, and several other countries, Winds of Rotary will meet music enthusiasts at Girne Amphitheater on Sunday, July 30th. Produced by Turgay Hilmi, the concert consists of compositions by Bach, Beethoven, Andrew L. Webber, and Kamran Aziz. The project, which will come to life within the framework of cultural cooperation between Girne Municipality, Rotary Club of Girne Cosmopolitan, and Roth District Administration, is supported by Girne Municipality and Roth District Administration. The Winds of Rotary Concert will be held in support of SOS Children's Village and the Cyprus Turkish Orthopedic Disabled Association.

ORCHESTRA

The extraordinary compositions will be performed by the Winds of Rotary team, including Turgay Hilmi, Elke Völker, and Jens Lohmüller as conductors. In addition, the concert will feature the solos of Gözlem Özdeğirmenci, Eser Öktem, Zübeyde Yıldız, and Nice Kabeya, along with the talented musicians of Kıbrıs Sanat, LGV Nürnberg Concert Choir, and Vox Africa Choir.

According to the information provided by the Social Affairs Department of Girne Municipality, concert tickets can be obtained online at www.kibrisbiletcim.com or from Girne Municipality New Service Building, Girne Municipality Lifelong Learning and Social Life Center (former municipality building), Beylerbeyi Neighborhood Headman's Office, Ozanköy Neighborhood Headman's Office, Doğanköy Neighborhood Headman's Office, Zeytinlik Neighborhood Headman's Office, Karaoğlanoğlu Neighborhood Headman's Office, as well as Nicosia Turkish Municipality and Famagusta Municipality. The ticket prices for the concert have been announced as 300 TL.
