Jonson highlighted the importance of Sweden's geographical location, mentioning their strong capabilities both below and above the sea.

He also emphasized their expertise in the Arctic region, stating, "Surviving in the Arctic is one thing, fighting is another. We have a lot of experience operating in that region."

Regarding contributions to NATO in areas such as innovation, automobile production, and fighter aircraft, Jonson noted, "These are some of the things we can bring to the table when we become full-fledged members of the Alliance."

When asked about Turkey's approach to Sweden's NATO membership, Jonson said, "Turkey is an important ally for us. We want to maintain good relations with Turkey when we become NATO members. However, I think it is important for us to become members as soon as possible. This is important for us because we want to be part of Article 5 and NATO's common defense planning."

Jonson pointed out the difference between forming a partnership with NATO and becoming a NATO member, stating that Ukrainians understand this difference, saying, "We understand this difference. When you become a member, you can integrate into the common defense plan. That's why I think it's important for the Alliance that we integrate as soon as possible to make progress in all these matters."
