The revenue of 2.25 million TL generated from the Ulker Nicosia Marathon, organized to establish the Champion Angels Education Campus and perpetuate the names of champions, has been presented to the Champion Angels Foundation.

During the meeting between Mehmet Harmancı, the Mayor of Nicosia Turkish Municipality, and the executives of LTB Sports Club with the President of the Champion Angels Foundation, Ruşen Yücesoylu Karakaya, a commemorative trophy was also presented to the foundation.

Mayor Harmancı: The Names of Champions Who Always Make Us Proud Will Always Live On

Mayor Harmancı stated that this year's marathon not only belonged to Nicosia but to the whole country, emphasizing that the promise made by thousands of people was fulfilled on October 22. He noted the significance of the marathon throughout the entire process, reinforcing the community's commitment to this cause. Harmancı said, "We had over 24,000 registrations, and on marathon day, over 10,000 people participated. Hopefully, this support will continue until the campus is built with the proceeds from the marathon. In addition to being the main sponsor of Ulker Nicosia Marathon, Puma also contributed 1 million TL in cash for the construction of the campus. The marathon was crucial to reiterate that we will never hesitate to act together with you for both the campus and justice."

In continuation of his speech, Mayor Harmancı stated, "This duty does not end here. The marathon took the first step for the education campus. I thank all our sponsors and our people. We, as Nicosia Turkish Municipality, will continue to support this process. We will always stand by the association."

Karakaya: The Marathon Day Witnessed One of the Greatest Examples of Social Solidarity

Ruşen Yücesoylu Karakaya, the President of the Champion Angels Foundation, mentioned that the marathon day witnessed one of the greatest examples of social solidarity. He emphasized that the most important issue in the minds of those who came to build the campus was justice for our children and our losses. Karakaya said, "We will continue to work together, as always emphasized by Mayor Harmancı and his entire team. As an association, we will achieve the goal we set. There was a significant contribution from this community and this team working together. We sincerely thank everyone. Our champions watched us from there, their strength is with us, and we will do what needs to be done until the end."
