Zehie Helin Reessur Murder Trial Adjourned to December 8th
The murder case of 16-year-old Zehie Helin Reessur, allegedly killed by suspect Sefer Buğra Altundağ, was once again brought before the court. The judge adjourned the case to December 8, 2023, after the requested time.
In the matter of the killing of 16-year-old Zehie Helin Reessur, a student in the 11th grade at Gazimağusa Vocational High School, the 21-year-old suspect Sefer Buğra Altundağ appeared in court again on January 25.
Altundağ's lawyer requested more time from the court, stating the intention to meet with the defendant and his family. The prosecutor insisted that a deadline should be set, emphasizing that it should be the "last time." Following these discussions, the judge decided to adjourn the case until December 8, 2023.
Altundağ, who appeared in court on January 13, 2023, had previously, through his lawyer, stated that he would accept other charges except for "premeditated murder."
