Hulusi Kilim: We Seek Solutions to Our Problems with a Collective Approach, Not Hierarchical

Kilim, highlighting that Cyprus has lacked communication between the two communities for years, emphasized the need to address these issues collectively, stating, "We argue that we need to come together, people who care about these issues and find solutions to our problems." He underlined that Turkish Cypriots and Greeks need to work together and that there is a common goal to manage the Cyprus issue.

Regarding the lack of communication and trust issues, Kilim said, "We cannot ignore that there are obstacles. We need to be on the same page and be sensitive to these issues. We must work together to overcome them." Kilim emphasized that the most important common ideal of Turkish Cypriots and Greeks is to reach a "federal Cyprus," and he stressed the need to act in line with a federal structure in Cyprus.

Discussing the language barrier between the two communities, Kilim stated, "We have to address these communication issues and trust issues. We cannot ignore them. We have to be sensitive to them." He emphasized that Volt is a progressive, pragmatic, solution-focused, and inclusive party that seeks solutions to problems with a collective approach, not a hierarchical one. Kilim highlighted the importance of taking the desires of the community to the political level. He said, "We must address this necessity based on which we have set out. We have set out on a path to correct people's misconceptions over time."

Kilim pointed out that Volt is a party that will be a challenging factor throughout Cyprus, emphasizing that they will produce common decisions under the roof they have established.
