Speaking to BRT, Ataoğlu stated that they will not forget the promise they made to the Champion Angels and will continue the fight for the heaviest punishment for the responsible parties.

Ataoğlu pointed out that today's witnesses made statements to protect their employers who are hotel operators.

He reminded that they reacted to this and the trial was adjourned. Ataoğlu stated that they are standing by the Champion Angels as the TRNC and will be there until the end of the trial.

Ataoğlu, who said that when the families came to Adıyaman for the trial, they "experienced a second earthquake," expressed that they are behind the promise they made to the Champion Angels and will continue to be there until the responsible parties receive the heaviest punishment.

Noting that the trial is expected to continue until late hours, Ataoğlu stated that the next trial date will be determined later, and they will be in Adıyaman on that date.

As someone from Gazimağusa, Ataoğlu said that he knows all the families, attended the funeral ceremonies instead of the weddings and diploma ceremonies of the Champion Angels, and expressed the hope that an exemplary decision would be made against those who caused this.

Ataoğlu stated that the state's contribution to this process will continue, and they will also put their hands under the stone for the process of following the trial.

Stating that the whole country is united for this case and will continue to be so, Ataoğlu said, "We are here, and we will continue to be here. After listening to the interim decision, we will return to the island together with the families."
