Dalman Aydın: Thermal Plant Boiler Leak Repaired… No Power Outages Planned
KIB-TEK Director Dalman Aydın announced that issues in electricity production were caused by a boiler leak at the thermal power plant. Aydın stated, “The boiler leak at the thermal power plant has been fixed. No power outages are planned.”
Dalman Aydın, Director of the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (KIB-TEK), explained that the country has been experiencing power cuts since yesterday due to the boiler leak at the thermal power plant. He assured that the leak has been repaired and the plant will be operational by the end of the day.
In response to questions from a TAK reporter, Aydın confirmed that no power outages are planned for today.
