İzcan Condemns Racist and Fascist Behaviors, Calls for Action Against Rising Xenophobia
BKP (United Cyprus Party) leader İzzet İzcan has denounced the increasing incidents of racist behavior towards foreigners in the country, stating, "We reject fascist and racist behaviors." İzcan highlighted the issue, emphasizing the need for necessary measures to be taken.
He pointed out an incident where the manager of Glapsides Beach in Famagusta displayed banners stating "Pakistanis and blacks are not allowed on the beach," which he strongly condemned as intolerable.
İzcan underscored that xenophobia and racist behaviors pose a significant threat to the country's peace, also linking population growth to serious issues and an uptick in traffic accidents.
"We at BKP reject all forms of fascist and racist behaviors," İzzet İzcan stated, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring that people live in democracy, equality, and freedom.
