KSTU Investigation: Serdal Gündüz and Berk Özbek's Trial Continues on June 24

In the ongoing KSTU investigation, Secretary General Serdal Gündüz and his assistant Berk Özbek, who were arrested, appeared for the initial investigation hearing at the Güzelyurt District Court. The trial is set to continue on June 24. The defendants face serious charges and a total of 98 cases.

Serdal Gündüz, Secretary General and shareholder of Cyprus Health and Social Sciences University (KSTU), along with his assistant Berk Özbek, appeared in court today for the initial investigation hearing.

The eighth witness, Investigation Officer Ortunç Özbaylı, presented evidence to the court, leading to the postponement of the hearing to Monday, June 24.

Today, 14 pieces of evidence were presented in court, bringing the total number of evidence submitted by the Investigation Officer to 32.

Serdal Gündüz faces charges including "Fraudulent Bank Payment Order," "Money Laundering," "Forgery and Circulation of Forged Documents," "Fraud," and "Obtaining Money by Deception." Berk Özbek faces charges of "Forgery of Official Documents," "Obtaining Money by Deception," and "Forgery of Bank Documents."

The defendants are accused in a total of 98 cases.
