Electricity Price Hike of 13% on the Way!
There are significant claims that Kıb-Tek is preparing to increase electricity prices by 13%.
Speaking as a guest on Kıbrıs Postası TV, Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority Employees' Union (El-Sen) President Ahmet Tuğcu hinted that a 13% hike in electricity rates is imminent.
Tuğcu explained that in the past, after the cost of living was announced, electricity prices were subsequently increased, describing this as "a cunning move." He also mentioned plans to clean up the "bad apples" within Kıb-Tek, stating, “There are individuals at Kıb-Tek who are reported to be on sick leave but are found at the UBP headquarters.”
