Reappointment of Supreme Election Council President and Members
The President and primary and alternate members of the Supreme Election Council have been reappointed, as announced in the Official Gazette.
The appointments, effective from May 17, were made by the Supreme Court and are as follows:
- President: Bertan Özerdağ, President of the Supreme Court
- Primary Members:
- Gülden Çiftçioğlu, Supreme Court Judge
- Tanju Öncül, Supreme Court Judge
- Beril Çağdal, Supreme Court Judge
- Peri Hakkı, Supreme Court Judge
- Alternate Members:
- Talat Usar, Supreme Court Judge
- Bahar Duatepe, Supreme Court Judge
These appointments ensure the effective functioning of the Supreme Election Council in overseeing the electoral processes and maintaining the integrity of elections.
