3 Judges Sworn In and Commence Duties

Newly appointed judges Cemal Gündüz, Dilem Akçaba, and Semra Kaymaklılı Güven were sworn in and officially began their duties. Appointed by the High Judicial Council, the new judges took their oaths in a ceremony attended by Bertan Özerdağ, President of the Supreme Court and the High Judicial Council.

In his remarks, Özerdağ highlighted that the High Judicial Council makes new judicial appointments to manage the heavy caseloads in the courts. He expressed confidence that the young judges would contribute significantly to the judiciary in the long term and wished that the appointments would be beneficial for the state and society.

During the ceremony, the biographies of Cemal Gündüz, Dilem Akçaba, and Semra Kaymaklılı Güven were read out. The judges then took their oaths before the High Judicial Council, officially commencing their positions as District Court judges.
