According to information obtained by Kıbrıs Postası, there are no health issues among the students in the group. The students and accompanying teachers from the English School in South Cyprus are stranded at a hotel in Switzerland due to adverse weather conditions.

Sources reached by Kıbrıs Postası confirmed that five of the students are Turkish Cypriots and that there are no health problems among them.

Additionally, it was noted that the school's electricity has been cut off due to safety precautions.

The incident occurred in the Ticino Canton and Maggia Valley region of Switzerland.

What Happened?

The English School in South Cyprus organized a trip to Switzerland, during which 71 students and their accompanying teachers became stranded due to adverse weather conditions.

It was reported that the students and teachers could not leave the hotel due to floods and landslides, but there is no cause for concern as everyone is safe.

The students, who were supposed to return last night, will have their return arranged as soon as possible.
