According to information obtained by Kıbrıs Postası, the students traveled by plane, first landing in Italy, then Greece, and finally arriving at Larnaca Airport. It was reported that all students are in good health.

What Happened?

During a trip organized by the English School in South Cyprus, 71 students and their accompanying teachers were stranded in Switzerland’s Ticino Canton and Maggia Valley region due to adverse weather conditions. The students and teachers were unable to leave their hotel due to floods and landslides, but it was assured that there was no cause for concern and everyone was safe.

The students, who were originally scheduled to return last night, had their return arranged as soon as possible.
