The survey, which included 500 participants, revealed that only 17.47% believe the country is heading in the right direction, while 53.61% expect their financial situation to worsen within the next two years.

The survey highlighted that the three most trusted institutions are the police, judiciary, and ombudsman. Conversely, the government, presidency, and trade unions are viewed with the least trust. Trust in the president stands at 19.5%, trust in the government at 17.5%, and trust in the Parliament at 20.2%, indicating that four out of five people lack confidence in the country's leaders.

CMIRS Director Mine Yücel commented on these findings, emphasizing that "incompetent and ineffective leaders" and "corruption" are among the top issues, pointing to a significant governance problem. She expressed concern over the country's livability, noting that "if 50% of the population thinks this country is unlivable, it's a very concerning situation."

Yücel further stated, "With economic and social issues at their peak, and social trust eroded by corruption and bribery, what is most needed is a leadership that can restore unity, confidence, and a shared vision for the future."

She emphasized the need for a renewed social contract to rebuild public confidence in state institutions, asserting that justice, vision, planning, and accountability are essential for effective governance and the restoration of societal trust.
