Two Suspects Arrested for Assaulting and Robbing Young Man in Gönyeli!
In Gönyeli, two suspects, identified as 44-year-old M.O. and 17-year-old G.O., have been arrested following an incident yesterday morning. They allegedly assaulted and robbed 21-year-old R.N., who was walking along the road.
According to reports, M.O. and G.O. first physically assaulted R.N., causing serious injuries including a broken left finger, before stealing his bag containing a student ID card, 1000 TL in cash, and men's perfume.
The incident occurred on Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Street in Lefkoşa around 5:30 AM, as M.O., accompanied by G.O., was driving towards Gönyeli. They reportedly stopped the vehicle, approached R.N. who was walking along the central median, and after assaulting him, forcibly took his belongings.
Police have confirmed the arrest of M.O. and G.O. as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.
