Ministry of Tourism: Beach Clean-Up Efforts Continue, but Litter Problem Persists

In a statement from the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment, it was noted that efforts to maintain clean and healthy beaches will continue throughout the summer months.

The statement highlighted that five teams of environmentally-conscious youth are conducting clean-up operations twice daily, in the morning and evening, across four areas: Famagusta, İskele, Yeniboğaziçi, and Tatlısu. Despite these efforts, both the amount of litter collected and the overall state of cleanliness remain the same.
