Naval and Aerial Displays Scheduled for July 20 Celebrations
As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Peace and Freedom Day on July 20, naval and aerial displays will take place this Saturday. The event will feature 50 ships, 12 maritime aircraft, and a performance by the Turkish Stars aerobatic team.
According to a statement from the Command of the Security Forces (GKK), the celebrations will include a formal naval parade and aerial displays in front of the Dome Hotel in Kyrenia from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday.
The GKK's announcement detailed that the naval parade will involve 50 ships and 12 maritime aircraft, organized by the Naval Forces Command. Meanwhile, the aerial displays will be performed by the Turkish Stars aerobatic team from the Air Forces Command.
