Abdullah Korkmazhan: We Reject the Resolution Accepted by the TBMM

In a written statement issued through the Left Movement Press Office, Korkmazhan declared, “We do not accept the separatist resolution or the expansionist declarations and policies.”

Korkmazhan emphasized, “Cyprus belongs to the Cypriots. The Cypriots want to live in a united homeland, in peace, and as part of the modern world.” He claimed that the solution to the Cyprus problem should be based on a federal united Cyprus with a single international representation, a single sovereignty, and a single citizenship, grounded in political equality, and involving two communities and two regions, as per the UN Security Council resolution.
