Erdoğan emphasized that the Turkish Cypriot community has faced injustice, lawlessness, and discrimination for nearly three-quarters of a century. He reiterated that both Turkey and the Turkish Cypriots are no longer open to federalism-based proposals.

"We are closely monitoring Greece's actions in Western Thrace and intervening when necessary," Erdoğan said. "We will continue to support the Turkish minority in Western Thrace. The same applies to the rights of the Turkish Cypriots," he added.

Erdoğan highlighted that the goal is to increase the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). "As the motherland and guarantor country, we have clearly stated our position on the anniversary of the Peace Operation," he said.

Referring to the ceremonies held on July 20 in Nicosia, Erdoğan expressed his hope that the unity displayed would continue, particularly in the fight against terrorism and other national issues. "We are not seeking tension in our relations with our neighbors. Our goal is to advance our friendships and increase the number of our friends. We will not leave any hand extended in friendship unshaken," Erdoğan concluded.
