6 Arrested in Güzelyurt for Drug Possession During Traffic Check
During a routine traffic control in Güzelyurt, police discovered drugs in two separate vehicles, leading to the arrest of a total of six individuals.
According to the police bulletin, on Ecevit Street at around 5:00 PM, traffic officers from the Güzelyurt Police Directorate stopped a vehicle for inspection. The car was driven by M.M.A. (male, 25), with passengers O.E.O. (male, 31) and F.G.A. (male, 24). The officers, noticing suspicious behavior, conducted a search and found approximately 1 gram of cannabis.
Second Incident
In another vehicle stopped for a check, the police found 1 gram of cannabis and nine pills that are controlled substances under the green prescription category. The vehicle, with license plate ZUV 162, was driven by O.I.A. (male, 25), with passengers A.S.M. (male, 28) and I.D. (male, 24).
All six individuals were arrested, and the police are continuing their investigation into both incidents.
