GPS Issue Forces Ankara-Ercan Flight to Land in Adana
Last night's flight from Ankara to Ercan had to make an unscheduled landing in Adana due to a GPS issue. The aircraft experienced GPS signal loss, which was exacerbated by regional conflicts.
After initially landing in Adana, the plane was able to proceed to Ercan Airport.
Mustafa Sofi, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, commented to Kıbrıs Postası that the loss of GPS signal was unforeseen and occurred suddenly. He confirmed that only one flight has been affected by the GPS issue so far.
