US Blames Hezbollah for Golan Heights Rocket Attack
According to Reuters, Adrienne Watson, spokesperson for the US National Security Council, stated, “This attack was carried out by Lebanese (Hezbollah). It was a missile fired from an area they control.”
The White House announced on Sunday that the United States has attributed the rocket attack in the Golan Heights, which resulted in the deaths of 12 children and young people, to Hezbollah, the Iran-backed Lebanese group.
Watson further explained, “The US has been in continuous dialogue with Israeli and Lebanese officials since the attack.”
She added, “The United States is also working to find a diplomatic solution that will put an end to all attacks along the Blue Line and ensure the safe return of citizens to their homes on both sides of the border.”
