President Tatar Condemns Israeli Foreign Minister’s Remarks Against Erdoğan
President Ersin Tatar of Northern Cyprus spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan via telephone. During the call, Tatar condemned the Israeli Foreign Minister's remarks targeting Erdoğan on behalf of himself and the Turkish Cypriot people. He also expressed support for Erdoğan's policy on Gaza.
President Tatar highlighted that Erdoğan consistently stands with the oppressed and against oppressors. He conveyed that Turkey's stance against Israel's genocidal actions towards the Palestinian people is watched with pride in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Additionally, Tatar thanked Erdoğan for the publication of the book "Who is to Blame? Today Cannot Be Understood Separately from the Past" by the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, which aims to shed light on the history of the Cyprus issue.
