Erhürman Criticizes the Government: You're Playing Extra Time

Erhürman remarked, "The electricity system is falling apart. People are paying exorbitant amounts, getting poisoned, and dealing with power cuts in this heat. Health and education are left to fate. There are significant problems in the construction sector and higher education. The sectors supported by tourism are also struggling. The economy is clearly shifting south! Citrus farmers are wondering what to do next year. We hear of work accidents one after another. Workers are losing their lives in these accidents, and we don't even get a statement from you. The population keeps growing, and the infrastructure is increasingly inadequate every day. Children, youth, and even those who have long established their lives are constantly making emigration plans. Concepts like democracy, justice, and willpower are being dragged through the mud. Every statement made, every step taken, further weakens belief in these concepts. And that's not all..."

Continuing his critique, Erhürman highlighted the irony of the term 'STABILITY' being used amid these crises. He cited the Turkish Language Association's definition of stability as "continuing in the same manner, maintaining the existing order," questioning how the government could promise to continue in the same way amid such disarray.

He emphasized, "We've always said, leave aside incompetence and shortsightedness; there isn't even an awareness or concern about what's happening! If there were, would the promise be 'don't worry, we will continue just like this'? Clearly, these friends believe this nation desperately desires everything to continue exactly as it is! It's natural you are unaware because you have zero interest in what this nation is experiencing, thinking, or saying. But know that you're playing extra time. And know that this nation has made its decision. It will not allow you to destroy it and this country in a stable manner."
