According to Antara News, Indonesia has introduced new regulations on cigarette sales.

The new measures raise the minimum age for cigarette purchases from 18 to 21 and also ban sales to pregnant women.

In addition to prohibiting the sale of single cigarettes, with the exception of electronic cigarettes and cigars, the regulations mandate that cigarette packs must contain at least 20 cigarettes.

Furthermore, cigarette sales are prohibited within 200 meters of children's parks and educational institutions.

Indonesian Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that the regulation reflects the government's commitment to transforming and realizing an inclusive and resilient national health ecosystem.
