The first accident happened around 7:00 AM on the Nicosia-Famagusta Highway. Ömer Ayyıldız, 29, was driving a car with the license plate FG 881 while under the influence of 220 milligrams of alcohol. As he headed east, he collided with the rear of a car driven by 46-year-old Hakan Kalp, which was traveling in the same direction. After the collision, Ayyıldız's vehicle veered to the right and hit the steel barriers before coming to a stop.

Shortly after this incident, 34-year-old Muhammed Esentaş, driving a truck with the license plate PA 230, was traveling east on the same highway. Due to inattention, he crashed into the back of the stationary FG 881 vehicle. No injuries were reported from this accident either. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the drivers of the FG 881 and PA 230 vehicles, and investigations are ongoing.

Later, around 9:00 AM, another accident occurred on an unnamed road near the International Cyprus University in Nicosia. Ahmet Köse, 64, was driving a vehicle with the license plate YK 739 under the influence of 176 milligrams of alcohol. As he drove east and reached the Fina Petrol intersection, his lack of attention led him to crash into the back of a car driven by 41-year-old Sercan Kaan Akkaya, who was waiting in traffic. No injuries resulted from this accident. Legal proceedings have been initiated against Ahmet Köse, and the investigation is ongoing.
