Buse Makes History: Turkish Cypriot Athlete Advances to Paris Olympics Final!

Turkish Cypriot athlete Buse Savaşkan has advanced to the finals in the high jump at the Paris Olympics, setting a new personal best of 1.92 meters in the qualifiers. The final is scheduled for August 4.

Competing at Stade de France, Buse Savaşkan delivered an impressive performance in the high jump qualifiers. She started strong by clearing 1.83 meters on her first attempt.

Savaşkan then successfully cleared 1.88 meters on her second attempt. Although she initially failed to clear 1.92 meters on her first try, she succeeded on her second attempt, securing her place in the final.

Despite not clearing 1.95 meters, Savaşkan was among the top 12 athletes, earning her a spot in the final.

The final will take place on Sunday, August 4, at 20:55. Savaşkan's performance in the final is highly anticipated.
