The court ruled that both suspects could be tried without detention under the condition of posting a 60,000 TL bail and a 750,000 TL surety bond.

The police stated that on June 9, 2023, a construction firm applied for pre-approval for 30 workers. However, 16 workers were brought into the country without the firm's knowledge, and their whereabouts remain unknown. This prompted the initiation of an investigation. It was alleged that Nejdet Tunççağ and Hasan Akar prepared the necessary documents for these workers and handed them to an unauthorized individual.

The police also explained that Nejdet Tunççağ was responsible for handling pre-approval applications at KTİMB, while Hasan Akar managed the recruitment of workers from third-world countries. A complaint from another construction firm revealed that 14 workers were brought to the island without the firm’s knowledge, and their whereabouts are also unknown.
