Solyalı: Drug Offenses Remain by Far the Most Prevalent
CTP Deputy Ürün Solyalı has shared statistics on drug-related offenses adjudicated by the Heavy Penal Court from 2010 to 2023, stating, "Drug offenses are by far the most prevalent."
Solyalı highlighted the dominance of drug-related crimes such as drug importation, possession, distribution, sale, and cultivation of cannabis during this period.
He emphasized the importance of discussing the reasons behind the rising number of cases and exploring solutions.
According to Solyalı’s data, the number of drug-related cases increased from 132 in 2010 to 364 in 2023.

- 2011: 108 cases
- 2012: 197 cases
- 2013: 209 cases
- 2014: 287 cases
- 2015: 227 cases
- 2016: 260 cases
- 2017: 337 cases
- 2018: 362 cases
