Solyalı highlighted the dominance of drug-related crimes such as drug importation, possession, distribution, sale, and cultivation of cannabis during this period.

He emphasized the importance of discussing the reasons behind the rising number of cases and exploring solutions.

According to Solyalı’s data, the number of drug-related cases increased from 132 in 2010 to 364 in 2023.

The number of cases by year is as follows:

  • 2010: 132 cases
  • 2011: 108 cases
  • 2012: 197 cases
  • 2013: 209 cases
  • 2014: 287 cases
  • 2015: 227 cases
  • 2016: 260 cases
  • 2017: 337 cases
  • 2018: 362 cases
  • 2019: 310 cases
  • 2020: 322 cases
  • 2021: 314 cases
  • 2022: 323 cases
  • 2023: 364 cases
