Heatwave to Persist, Says Meteorology Department
The Meteorology Department has announced that the hot weather will continue to be felt in the coming days. According to the department's weekly forecast report, the heatwave will persist.
The report indicates that from tomorrow until Monday, August 19, the weather will be clear and partly cloudy.
The highest temperatures are expected to range between 39-42°C inland and 35-38°C along the coast.
Winds will blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally becoming strong.
