Emre Kaya Appointed as AK Party's Representative in Northern Cyprus
The Justice and Development Party (AK Party) has appointed Emre Kaya as its new representative in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The announcement was made by AK Party Deputy Chairman Zafer Sırakaya, who noted that Emre Kaya has also served in the party's Election Coordination Presidency.
In a statement shared on social media, Sırakaya expressed the party’s philosophy and acknowledged the contributions of previous representatives:
"Our cause is a relay race, a mobilization of the heart, and a movement of loyalty. The AK Party is a large family that builds its politics on the understanding of a 'relay race,' dedicated to serving our noble nation and humanity, wherever our citizens may live around the world."
He thanked Abdurrahim Boynukalın and Fahri Yönlüer for their dedicated efforts as representatives in the UK and TRNC, respectively, and extended his best wishes to the newly appointed representatives:
"I extend my gratitude to Abdurrahim Boynukalın and Fahri Yönlüer for their dedicated work as our representatives in the United Kingdom and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I wish success to Erdal Yetimova, appointed as the AK Party Representative to the UK, and Emre Kaya, appointed as the AK Party Representative to the TRNC, under the auspices of our President and General Chairman, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan."
