Turkish Cypriot Artist Mirana Faiz Nominated for 2024 Hollywood Independent Music Awards
Turkish Cypriot artist Mirana Faiz has made it to the nominee list for the 2024 Hollywood Independent Music Awards with her piece "Whispers of The Journey."
Faiz was invited to Los Angeles as one of the top six artists in the contemporary classical category, where she attended the awards ceremony and performed at various events.
The nominated piece, part of her music album, was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios with the expertise of renowned engineers John Barrett and Chris Parker. The album, which is set to be released by the end of the year, features impressive compositions that explore the depths of emotions and creativity through the piano.
According to her family, Mirana Faiz is the first Cypriot artist to be featured on this prestigious platform. After completing her master's degree at Leeds Conservatory, she has continued her career in the UK. Faiz has performed concerts in various countries worldwide and took the stage in 2024 at notable venues such as Sudeley Castle (England), Villa Boveri (Switzerland), and Palais Ehrbar (Vienna, Austria).
