Speed Camera Fine Distribution Tender Cancelled Again
The tender for the "Speed Cameras Penalty Notification Form Service Procurement" has been cancelled by the Competition Board following an appeal. The decision, now published in the Official Gazette, annuls the tender after Omeryan Construction Ltd. filed an objection.
The Competition Board found that the winning bid submitted by Airtech Ltd. was invalid, citing that the declaration included with their bid did not meet the requirements of the tender's administrative specifications. Additionally, the Central Tender Commission was found to have erred in awarding the tender to an invalid offer.
The Competition Board emphasized the need to initiate a new tender process in compliance with the relevant legal framework or to seek an alternative method of procurement that aligns with the law.
