Construction Accident in Ötüken Leaves Worker Injured
Yesterday around 9:00 AM in Ötüken, near İskele, a 50-year-old construction worker named Mehmet Özbek was injured after falling from a scaffold at a construction site.
The accident occurred while Özbek was extending a plank and lost his balance, causing him to fall approximately three meters onto a concrete surface.
According to police reports, Özbek managed to reach Gazimağusa State Hospital on his own, where doctors diagnosed fractures in both of his heels. After receiving treatment, he was discharged from the hospital.
