Özerdağ announced that the judiciary's website has been revamped using artificial intelligence to ensure compatibility with mobile devices. This updated site will allow access to all legal texts and court decisions through advanced search functionalities. The previous website, last updated in 2007, faced issues with search capabilities, which the new AI-enhanced site aims to resolve.

The digitization efforts include a significant update to the court's procedural rules, which are expected to bring substantial improvements in enforcement actions. This will help prevent fraudulent attempts to hide assets during execution processes. Özerdağ also mentioned the introduction of a new website for the Supreme Election Council, marking a first for the council.

Changes in Execution Procedures

Özerdağ discussed recent amendments to the Civil Procedure Rules, set to be implemented by the end of August. These changes are designed to enhance the effectiveness and speed of execution procedures, including immediate measures against debtors' bank deposits and salaries to ensure repayment to creditors. The new system will also address fraudulent asset concealment by enabling the seizure of vehicles and valuable items fraudulently transferred to family members or third parties.

Addressing Unfair Interest and Debt

Özerdağ stressed the need to combat unfair interest rates and undocumented loans, emphasizing the importance of protecting the public. He noted that while the number of such cases has decreased, there are still significant issues that need addressing to safeguard against financial abuses.

Reforming Conditional Release Regulations

Özerdağ highlighted the importance of the Conditional Release Regulations, which aim to rehabilitate offenders and deter crime through effective penalties. He expressed a belief that long prison sentences alone are not rehabilitative and stressed the need for modernizing legal frameworks to facilitate proper reform and reintegration.

Tackling Drug and Domestic Violence Crimes

Regarding drug offenses and domestic violence, Özerdağ noted a serious increase in these crimes and reiterated that the courts will impose stringent penalties. He emphasized the need for severe consequences for drug traffickers and those involved in domestic violence, ensuring that the future of the country's youth is protected from these harmful activities.

Confidence in the Judiciary

Özerdağ expressed confidence in the judiciary, highlighting the professionalism and reliability of the judges. He noted that recent evaluations have reaffirmed the judiciary's status as the most trusted institution in the country, with the highest levels of reliability to date.

Özerdağ concluded by expressing gratitude for the judiciary's team and reaffirmed the commitment to accelerating judicial processes through digitalization and effective enforcement.
