According to a report by Bağımsız Gazete, Üstel highlighted that alongside reinforcements, the necessary equipment has been secured, allowing for ongoing work at Teknecik. He also drew attention to the project aimed at delivering electricity from Turkey to Northern Cyprus via an undersea cable.

The Prime Minister mentioned that a feasibility report for the cable project is expected to be completed and submitted by the end of this month. He added, "While we continue to invest in Teknecik, we are also preparing to tackle the energy issue comprehensively with the upcoming feasibility report from Turkey."

"Our People Have Seen How Great the UBP Is"

Üstel also commented on the upcoming UBP (National Unity Party) Congress scheduled for September 21, stating that the district congresses were completed democratically, with 6,500 UBP members participating in the voting process.

"Our people have seen how great a party UBP is. It was a democratic election process. After our congress on September 21, we will continue to serve our people in unity with our 24 deputies and coalition partners during the new legislative term, which begins on October 1," Üstel concluded.
