Israeli National Released on €92,000 Bail in Cyprus Property Trade Case

An Israeli national, aged 25, who was arrested by Greek Cypriot police on charges related to the trade of properties owned by Greek Cypriots in Northern Cyprus, has been released on bail amounting to 92,000 euros.

According to a report by "Philenews," the case was heard this morning at the Nicosia District Court in the southern part of the island. The court has scheduled the trial to begin on October 8 at the Assize Court.

The conditions of the release include the defendant signing a personal bail bond of 50,000 euros, paying a cash deposit of 9,000 euros, and placing a lien on a car worth 33,000 euros, which belongs to his wife. Additionally, the court ordered the defendant to surrender his travel documents to the police, added his name to the "stop list" (a list of persons barred from leaving the country), and mandated that he report to the Pissouri police station daily between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Furthermore, the court imposed a ban on the defendant crossing into Northern Cyprus.
