Hakan Gündüz: "Rising Crime Rates Not Just a Result of Inflation"
A- A A+

Gündüz emphasized that situations directly related to crime, such as the uncontrolled flow of black money, unplanned and haphazard transfers of land ownership, all kinds of illegal transactions, and changes in demographic structure, are prevalent. He also pointed out that as poverty increases, there is a surge in crime rates.

"WHEN THE ECONOMIC STRUCTURE DETERIORATES, UNEXPECTED NEGATIVITIES OCCUR"

Gündüz reminded that the economy is both the foundation and necessity of societies, and that it is the state mechanism that ensures the necessary order. He stated that when the economic structure deteriorates, unexpected negativities also appear in the social structure.

To say that there is an increase in crime rates due to inflation alone would be an incorrect approach. If poverty also increases, crime rates will explode..."
