Speaking on Kıbrıs Postası TV’s “Morning News” program hosted by Canan Onurer, Oğuz acknowledged the public’s concerns but emphasized the importance of adhering to the law. "There are expectations from our people, but there are also laws. Everyone has their own personal struggles. We are currently working on this issue. We cannot operate outside the legal framework, but we are trying to solve the problems," he stated.

Oğuz also provided an update on the amnesty program, noting that approximately 3,300 people have applied, with 897 receiving approval and 394 cases still under review.
