During his meeting with a Turkish parliamentary delegation led by Şamil Ayrım, Chairman of the Turkey-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, Aliyev highlighted the enduring brotherhood and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey, noting that the two nations always stand by each other.

Aliyev also addressed regional developments, stressing Azerbaijan's commitment to achieving sustainable peace in the region. He underscored the need for Armenia to amend its constitution by removing territorial claims against Azerbaijan, as a prerequisite for peace.

The Azerbaijani leader criticized Armenia for delaying the peace process, stating that Armenia's actions, including acquiring weapons from Western countries and conducting military exercises with third parties, suggest a lack of interest in a peace agreement and lasting regional stability.

Aliyev also called for the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group, which was established to mediate the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, questioning its relevance given the current circumstances and Armenia's stance. He further criticized certain Western institutions for their unjust attitudes towards Azerbaijan, linking these positions to Azerbaijan's efforts to ensure its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
