Akıncı: My Health Is Good, Thanks to All Healthcare Workers

In a statement on his social media account, Akıncı shared details about his health, stating, "Following a brief illness, I was treated at Mağusa State Hospital and later transferred to Lefkoşa Nalbantoğlu State Hospital, where the necessary medical interventions and tests were conducted. The doctors diagnosed the situation, which involved dizziness, fainting, and vomiting, as a transient ischemic attack, meaning the brain was temporarily deprived of adequate blood and oxygen. A brain MRI, cardiac echo, and Doppler examination of the blood vessels supplying the brain were performed, and no adverse findings were detected. My condition is good. I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and all healthcare workers at both hospitals. I also send my love to everyone who showed concern for my health and wished me well from various platforms. On this World Peace Day, I wish for a peaceful and healthy future for our island and all of humanity."
