The Turkish office of the streaming giant stated they have not yet received any official details but will provide updates as they become available.

The announcement of the series, directed by Andreas Georgio and broadcast by Mega TV, has sparked protests in Turkey and the northern part of Cyprus, with critics accusing the show of distorting historical facts. In response to these concerns, BBC Türkçe reached out to Netflix Turkey, which confirmed they are still awaiting information about the show.

So far, the only confirmation of the series' release on September 20 has come from the producer and director.

Meanwhile, Speaker of the Turkish Cypriot Parliament, Zorlu Töre, stated that he had spoken with Ebubekir Şahin, President of Turkey's Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), who indicated that access to the series in Turkey would be restricted and its broadcast prohibited.
