The statement emphasized that public safety is one of the main issues troubling the citizens, and the increase in criminal incidents, as well as the changing nature of these crimes, requires serious attention.

HP highlighted the government's misuse of a decree initially prepared for the deportation of Ghanaian national Uthman. The party warned that the scope of this decree was overly broad and open to abuse by the government.

The statement continued:
"The Council of Ministers' recent decision, as published in the Official Gazette, revoked the deportation orders for 27 individuals, allowing their re-entry into the TRNC. A brief investigation into these individuals reveals that some were previously declared prohibited migrants due to involvement in crimes such as robbery and theft."

HP expressed deep concern over this decision, stating:
"At a time when the rise in criminal incidents is worrying the public, the government's decision to allow individuals with criminal backgrounds to return is not only inappropriate but also undermines the efforts of our security forces, who are already working understaffed to combat crime."

The party called on the government to reconsider its decision, stressing that it must prioritize the safety and well-being of the public over any political interests.
