In a written statement, İzcan criticized the authorities for their inaction, despite evidence of human traffickers abducting and torturing Bangladeshi laborers.

He condemned the silence of the police, stating, “It is unacceptable that the police remain inactive in the face of forced signatures on payment documents and take no action against Cypruvex Director Cemal Redif, the Contractors' Union, and companies acting as intermediaries for labor.” İzcan accused the UBP-DP-YDP government of attempting to bury the issue.

According to İzcan, the country has become a hub for human trafficking, with crime networks benefiting from the protection of authorities and generating millions of dollars in revenue. He also highlighted the inhumane conditions Bangladeshi workers continue to endure, calling for the closure of these criminal organizations and for those involved in illegal activities to be brought to justice.
