Taçoy: Change on September 21 Will Affect Both UBP Leadership and Politics
A- A A+

According to a press release, Taçoy, who met with producers and listened to their issues, shared his vision on agriculture and livestock.

“Incentive Policies Must Be Reassessed”

Taçoy criticized the current incentive programs as flawed and insufficient, arguing that they do not adequately reward producers for their efforts. He stressed the necessity of revisiting these policies and overhauling the system.

He also highlighted the need for a shift towards modern livestock practices and financial support for entrepreneurs, especially young people, entering the sector. Taçoy noted:

“To support modern livestock farming, we need incentives and financing. If we want to ease the burden on farmers, we must renew our water policy. We have five types of water resources in our country. We should develop separate policies and strategic plans for each type and ensure these resources are made available to farmers. This task should be managed by knowledgeable individuals.”

“On September 21, We Must Raise a Strong Voice for Change”

Taçoy stated that the UBP base primarily consists of producers and emphasized the need for a strong call for change during the party congress elections. He added:

“September 21 is a crucial day, not just for changing the leadership of the National Unity Party but for fundamentally altering the political landscape of the country. It is my duty to drive this change.”
