Antoniou: "We Are Ready for Negotiations on the Cyprus Issue"
Greek Cypriot Deputy Government Spokesman Yiannis Antoniou stated that the Greek Cypriot side is ready for negotiations regarding the Cyprus issue.
In his remarks, Antoniou emphasized that they are prepared to engage in discussions based on the distribution of the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
Speaking to the press after a memorial ceremony in Aglandjia, Antoniou was asked about the upcoming meeting between Greek Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and UN Secretary-General António Guterres. He said, "Christodoulides will discuss the steps to be taken with the UN Secretary-General, and Guterres will outline his stance, to which we will respond accordingly."
